Under the aegis of the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital, a legal services camp is set to be organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Tehri Garhwal. The camp will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Jai Kisan Inter College, Raudhadhar, Devprayag. District and Sessions Judge Justice Yogesh Kumar Gupta has instructed all professors and staff of the college to participate in the event. Various government departments, including Revenue, Agriculture, Labor, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Education, Health, Police, Social Welfare, and Soldier Welfare, will provide public services and address citizens’ issues promptly at the camp.
The camp aims to deliver legal awareness, advice, and assistance to the public, with free health checkups and issuance of necessary certificates by administrative officials. Judge Gupta emphasized the goal of the Legal Services Authority to resolve public issues and fulfill its objectives effectively. College Principal Dr. Pratap Singh Bisht welcomed and honored Judge Gupta with a garland and bouquet. The event is expected to feature cultural performances by students to mark the occasion, encouraging maximum participation from students and college faculty.
