New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 to Begin on February 1

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 will be held from February 1 to 9 at Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), offering a grand platform for literature enthusiasts, authors, and publishers from across the world. This year’s theme will highlight constitutional principles and democratic values through books and cultural programs.

Key Highlights of the Book Fair

Renowned personalities such as Pankaj Tripathi, Shashi Tharoor, Kumar Vishwas, Prakash Jha, and Pushpesh Pant will share their insights during the event. The Theme Pavilion in Hall 5 will focus on India’s republican ideals, while Hall 4 will host international publishers and authors, introducing visitors to global literature and culture. Russia’s literary and cultural heritage will also be showcased through special book exhibits.

In Hall 6, storytelling sessions, writing workshops, and Vedic mathematics sessions will be organized. Additionally, Braille books will be distributed for free. Under the “Festival of Festivals” initiative, various literary platforms and book festivals will be featured to enrich India’s literary landscape.

A new segment, “Authors’ Lounge,” will allow authors and literary experts to engage in discussions. Activities such as the “Reading Pledge” and quiz competitions will encourage reading habits among visitors.

The fair will be open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM. Entry is free for students in school uniforms and senior citizens. The nearest metro station is Supreme Court, and shuttle services will be available from Gates 10, 4, and 3.
