PM Modi on Operation Sindoor: ‘No Place is Safe for Those Who Shed Indian Blood’

In a powerful address at the centenary celebration of the historic meeting between social reformer Narayana Guru and Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s firm stance against terrorism. Referring to the recent ‘Operation Sindoor’, he said the operation demonstrated that no place is safe for those who harm Indian citizens. He stated, “India has shown that it will act decisively in its national interest. Operation Sindoor forced enemies to surrender in just 22 minutes.”

During the event, PM Modi also paid tribute to Narayana Guru and Mahatma Gandhi, calling their 100-year-old meeting a defining moment in India’s freedom movement. “Their values continue to inspire the vision of a developed India and the goal of social harmony,” he said.

Reflecting on his personal connection with marginalized communities, PM Modi stated, “I always remember Gurudev Narayana when making decisions that benefit the oppressed and deprived sections of society.” He highlighted how Narayana Guru’s ideals act as a guiding light for those working in service of the nation.

PM Modi praised India’s leadership in global sustainable initiatives, mentioning campaigns like ‘One Earth, One Health’, and ‘One Sun, One World, One Grid’. He connected these efforts to the Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family. He noted, “India is guiding the world in areas like wellness, environment, and unity, as reflected during our G20 presidency with the theme ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’.”

The Prime Minister concluded by stating that great personalities like Narayana Guru always emerge when India faces challenges. “They steer the country in the right direction—spiritually, socially, and nationally,” he said.
