Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 on January 28 in Bhubaneswar. The event, aimed at promoting development and investment in Odisha, will be held at the Janata Maidan.
Focus on Key Sectors
Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi highlighted that the two-day conclave will showcase Odisha’s potential across five core sectors:
- Information Technology
- Renewable Energy
- Textiles
- Chemicals
- Food Processing
An estimated 4,000 to 5,000 investors are expected to participate in this initiative.
Key Highlights
- Pre-Event Industry Sessions: On January 27, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host five sessions featuring 200 industry members.
- Youth Entrepreneurs: Achievements of 60 entrepreneurs under the age of 40 will be showcased.
- Youth Recognition Ceremony: On January 29, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi will honor two exceptional young entrepreneurs from each district.
Global Participation
Representatives from 12 countries, including Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Germany, Poland, and Cuba, will participate under the “Countries of Focus” initiative.
This conclave is expected to be a significant step in advancing Odisha’s development and attracting global investments.
