PM Modi to Unveil ₹4,500 Crore Projects in Delhi Tomorrow

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a rally at Rohini’s Japanese Park on Friday, where he will announce infrastructure projects worth ₹4,500 crore. This rally is expected to mark the beginning of the BJP’s campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections. Another rally is planned for January 5 at CBD Ground in East Delhi.

Key Project Announcements

PM Modi will inaugurate the Rithala-Narela-Kundli line of Delhi Metro Phase-4 and the Delhi-Saharanpur National Highway. Four major projects aimed at reducing pollution and traffic congestion in the capital will also be unveiled. To ensure a large turnout, BJP has instructed Mandal presidents to bring attendees in two buses each. MPs Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Yogendra Chandolia, and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri have been appointed rally coordinators.

Foundation Stones for Educational Institutions

On January 3, PM Modi is expected to lay the foundation for a college named after Veer Savarkar and two new university campuses in East and West Delhi. The Savarkar College in Najafgarh will be built at a cost of ₹140 crore. Meanwhile, the East Campus in Surajmal Vihar and the West Campus in Dwarka will require investments of ₹373 crore and ₹107 crore, respectively.

Housing for Slum Dwellers

As part of the “Jahan Jhuggi, Wahan Makaan” scheme, PM Modi will hand over keys to 1,645 Swabhiman flats in Wazirpur to slum residents from Ashok Vihar. These flats aim to provide secure housing to slum dwellers. Preparations for the event are nearing completion, with Union Housing Minister Manohar Lal Khattar overseeing the arrangements.
