Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha and Uttarakhand today for two significant events. At 11 AM, he will inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar. Later, at 6 PM, he will launch the 38th National Games in Dehradun.
Make in Odisha Conclave 2025
The two-day conclave in Bhubaneswar aims to position Odisha as a hub for industrial growth and investments. Industry leaders, investors, and policymakers will gather to explore opportunities and showcase Odisha’s industrial progress. The event will also feature the Make in Odisha Exhibition, highlighting the state’s industrial achievements.
38th National Games
As part of Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, the state is hosting the 38th National Games from January 28 to February 14 across 11 cities in 8 districts. The event will see over 10,000 athletes from 36 states and one union territory competing.
Green Games Initiative
This year’s National Games carry the theme “Green Games”, emphasizing sustainability. Organizers will develop a Sports Forest with over 10,000 trees planted across venues. Medals and certificates will be crafted from biodegradable materials, reinforcing eco-friendly practices.
