The birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas is being celebrated across India with devotion and enthusiasm. Sant Ravidas preached equality, unity, and love in society. On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, among other prominent leaders, paid their respects.
President Droupadi Murmu emphasized that Sant Ravidas upheld humanity above all and promoted the eradication of caste and religious discrimination. She urged citizens to embrace his teachings. JP Nadda shared one of Sant Ravidas’s couplets and stated that his principles strengthen social harmony and equality.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia referenced Ravidas’s famous couplet, “Mann Changa Toh Kathoti Mein Ganga”, highlighting its relevance in promoting social equality. CM Yogi Adityanath, in his social media post, mentioned that Sant Ravidas’s philosophy inspires people to follow the path of truth and selfless service.
