Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Anniversary: Celebration Begins Today

Ayodhya is set to host a grand three-day festival starting Saturday to mark the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the celebration by performing an Abhishek of Ram Lalla, followed by a Maha Aarti. He will also address devotees and guests at Angad Teela.

This year, Pratishtha Dwadashi will be observed on January 11, 2024, in honor of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony held on January 22, 2023. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has organized various cultural events from January 11 to 13, featuring performances by renowned artists in music, dance, and literature. The temple has been adorned with over 50 quintals of flowers and illuminated with spectacular lighting.

Special Arrangements and Security

Given the scale of the event, VIP passes have been canceled. Devotees will receive Bhog Prasad starting at 11 AM on Saturday. The event will be streamed live on Doordarshan and social media platforms.

For security, a robust team comprising police, ATS, and women officers has been deployed, with CCTV surveillance and traffic diversions in place to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
