Drug peddlers are destroying families, and you’re merely spectators.” The SSP emphasized the urgency of tackling the growing menace and demanded immediate and effective action from the police force.
Focus on Youth and Families
SSP Meena directed his subordinates to take stringent action against drug traffickers to safeguard the youth from falling prey to addiction. He urged police officers to actively participate in anti-drug campaigns and deliver positive outcomes. Additionally, he called for efforts to assure affected families that the police stand with them in their fight against drugs.
Caution on Online Hotel Bookings
The SSP also issued an advisory for tourists and travelers to exercise caution while making online hotel bookings. He advised verifying hotel credentials, using trusted websites, and opting for secure payment gateways. In cases of fraud, he recommended lodging complaints through the 1930 helpline or the cybercrime portal http://cybercrime.gov.in.
