Uttarakhand – The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has announced recruitment for 587 Nursing Officer vacancies under the state’s Medical Education Department. Eligible candidates can apply online between 27 November and 17 December 2025 through the official website.
According to the notification, these posts include general, diploma-holder, and degree-holder categories for both male and female candidates. Applicants must hold B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or a GNM diploma from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Additionally, a valid and active registration with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun is mandatory along with working knowledge of Hindi.
The application fee has been set at ₹300 for General and OBC applicants, while EWS, SC, ST and Divyang candidates will be required to pay ₹150. The fee will not be refundable. Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Matrix Level-7 as per the Seventh Pay Commission, with a salary scale ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400. The post is pensionable and non-practising.
Candidates must register online, fill out personal and educational details, upload required documents, pay the application fee, and finally submit and print the form for record.
