Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has proposed a tariff hike of up to 29.23% across the state. The public has until February 15 to review the new rates and submit suggestions. Proposed Tariff Hike Details
UPCL has suggested an average increase of 12.01% in electricity tariffs. Including proposals from PTCUL and UJVNL, the total hike could reach 29.23%.

Public Feedback and Next Steps
The Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing based on suggestions received. A final decision will be made before implementing the revised tariffs from April 1. Suggestions can be submitted to the Regulatory Commission’s office near ISBT, Dehradun, or via drop boxes at UPCL substations.
