CM Dhami says preparations complete For Monsoon Session; To be held in Bharadisain

The monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Assembly will be held at Bharadisain, the summer capital in Gairsain, from August 19 to 22. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the government is fully prepared for the upcoming session and all necessary arrangements have been completed.

So far, 32 legislators have submitted 547 questions for discussion in the House. Assembly Speaker recently reviewed the security and administrative arrangements with senior officials of various departments. Strict security protocols have been directed for the session, with clear instructions to ensure no lapse in entry regulations.

The session will be conducted through NEVA (National e-Vidhan Application), with ITDA tasked to provide technical support. Telecom companies will ensure high-speed internet access, while Wi-Fi connectivity will be made available across the Assembly premises. Only vehicles with authorized passes will be allowed inside, and entry passes will be restricted to two visitors on a minister’s recommendation and two on a legislator’s recommendation.

Arrangements for uninterrupted health services, electricity, and water supply during the four-day session have also been finalized.
