The World Acro Championship is set to begin today at Koti Colony on the shores of Tehri Lake. The five-day international paragliding event will feature pilots from 10 countries and 75 Indian pilots. The Tourism Department has finalized all preparations for the event, which starts at 10:30 AM.
A Spectacular Aerial Display: During the championship, the skies over Koti Colony and Pratapnagar will be filled with colorful paragliders performing breathtaking aerial stunts. In a unique opportunity, local residents will also get a chance to fly with Indian pilots.
International Participation: District Tourism Officer Sobat Singh Rana confirmed that pilots from countries such as Turkey, France, Russia, Iran, Spain, and Switzerland, along with participants from various Indian states, will showcase their skills in the competition.
