The number of pilgrims visiting Badrinath Dham has been लगातार rising since the temple gates opened for the season. According to official figures, a total of 69,044 devotees have offered prayers at the shrine so far.
The steady increase in footfall has brought visible activity back to the temple town. On Monday alone, 16,819 pilgrims visited the shrine. With the growing number of visitors, local businesses, especially hotels and small traders, have started seeing improved activity after months of dormancy.
The influx of pilgrims is not limited to the temple premises. Areas along the route, including Mana Village, often referred to as the first village of India, are also witnessing increased tourist movement. Local shopkeepers and service providers are expecting better earnings during the yatra season.
Pilgrims from across India, along with visitors from abroad, continue to arrive at the shrine. Since the temple gates were opened on April 23 for a six-month period, the number of devotees has steadily climbed. From Gauchar to Badrinath, halting points along the route are witnessing increased movement, reflecting the growing pace of the pilgrimage.
