Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed authorities to intensify efforts to clear snow from roads, enhance cold wave relief measures, and ensure timely medical care for pregnant women. During a review meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, district magistrates and departmental officials were instructed to strengthen monitoring of arrangements.
The Chief Minister emphasized the regular inspection of rain shelters and the distribution of essentials like blankets, gloves, and other necessities to those in need. He also stressed maintaining comprehensive data on pregnant women and providing immediate medical assistance in emergencies.

The meeting included a presentation by Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman on measures to address the cold wave. The Vice Chairman of the State Disaster Management Advisory Committee, Vinay Rohila, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, DGP Deepam Seth, and other senior officials were present, while Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and all district magistrates joined virtually.
