The Uttarakhand government has initiated the long-pending recruitment process for 955 vacant posts of Block Resource Persons (BRP) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRP) under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat confirmed that the selection will be made on the basis of district-wise merit.
To assist applicants, the state has reopened the Rojgar Prayag portal for one week, starting April 15. Candidates who had earlier registered can now upload their complete educational qualifications and work experience online.
According to Dr. Rawat, the recruitment had been delayed for some time due to technical issues. The Department of Skill Development and Employment was consulted to resolve these challenges. As a result, minor amendments have been made to the government order, enabling the recruitment process to move forward under the revised rules.
Additional State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, Kuldeep Gairola, stated that the portal will allow candidates who missed uploading their details earlier to update their records. District-wise merit lists will be prepared from these updated applications.
The Education Minister added that the recruitment process will be completed within two weeks.
