The Parliament’s Budget Session 2024 will commence on January 31 and conclude on April 4, conducted in two phases. The session will begin with President Droupadi Murmu’s address to a joint sitting of both Houses. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the Union Budget on February 1.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will respond to the motion of thanks on the President’s address. The session is expected to address disputes from the Winter Session and issues related to protests in the Parliament complex.
