Uttarakhand Panchayat Election: 10,799 Results Declared So Far After Two Days of Counting

The counting for the Uttarakhand Panchayat Elections continued into the second day, with results for 10,799 out of 10,831 posts declared by Friday. The elections were held across 12 districts for the positions of Zila Panchayat Members, Kshetra Panchayat Members, and Gram Pradhans.

According to the latest updates, results have been declared for 353 out of 358 Zila Panchayat seats, 2,971 out of 2,974 Kshetra Panchayat seats, and 7,475 out of 7,499 Gram Pradhan seats. The vote counting began on Thursday morning at 8 AM and continued through Friday.

While the elections also included 55,587 Gram Panchayat Member seats, the results for these have not yet been published on the State Election Commission’s official website. The Panchayat elections were held in two phases, recording an overall voter turnout of 69.16%. Notably, women outvoted men, with a participation rate of 74.42% compared to 64.23% among male voters.
