Badrinath Sees Over 21,000 Pilgrims in a Day as Char Dham Yatra Crosses 10 Lakh Mark

More than 21,000 devotees visited Badrinath Dham on Sunday, marking the second-highest single-day footfall since the temple’s portals opened this season. The highest turnout was recorded on the day of the shrine’s opening, when approximately 23,580 pilgrims offered prayers.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and safe Char Dham Yatra. He noted that over 10 lakh pilgrims have already visited the four holy shrines—Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri—so far this season.

The Chief Minister urged all pilgrims to maintain cleanliness and follow government-issued guidelines to make the sacred journey memorable and safe for everyone.
