Operation Sindoor to Be Taught in Uttarakhand Madrasas; Info Sessions During Assemblies

Legal action has been taken against an illegal madrasa in Rudrapur. Uttarakhand Madrasa Board launches a helpline for transparency.

Operation Sindoor will soon become a part of classroom learning and daily assemblies in madrasas across Uttarakhand. Mufti Shamoon Qasmi, Chairman of the Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Board, confirmed that the board is preparing to introduce lessons on the operation in the upcoming academic session.

Currently, 450 madrasas are registered with the state board. Qasmi stated that a curriculum committee will be formed to develop two to three chapters focused on Operation Sindoor. These chapters will be crafted with inputs from educationists and retired military personnel, ensuring accurate and inspiring content.

Apart from including the content in the academic curriculum, students will also be introduced to the operation and its themes of bravery and patriotism during school assemblies. Qasmi further emphasized that just as the state pioneered implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), this initiative also sets a strong example. He advocated for Operation Sindoor to be taught in all educational institutions across the state.
