Thousands of students who failed in the Uttarakhand Board Class 10 and 12 exams have been given a major relief. The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Ramnagar, has announced that these students will now get three opportunities to pass their exams.
This year, nearly 10,000 students in High School and around 18,000 in Intermediate failed to clear the exams. According to UBSE Additional Secretary Brahmohan Rawat, Class 10 students who failed in up to two subjects and Class 12 students who failed in one subject will be eligible for the scheme. The first chance will be in July 2025, the second with the main exams in 2026, and the third will follow after that.
Students can also appear in these exams to improve their marks. Examination forms will be available later this month to allow sufficient preparation time.
