Kotdwar. A team from the Special Task Force (STF) headquarters in Dehradun, along with district and local administration officials, conducted a raid at a medicine factory in Growth Center Sigaddi following information regarding alleged involvement in the manufacturing of fake medicines.
During the operation, the STF team inspected the factory premises and collected samples of medicines found at the unit. Officials also seized dye and equipment allegedly used in the manufacturing process. After the raid, the authorities sealed the factory for further investigation.

Officials said the investigation was carried out based on inputs related to suspected fake drug manufacturing activities. Further examination of the seized samples and materials is expected to determine the nature of the medicines being produced at the facility.
