Sridev Suman Uttarakhand University campus at Naikhari, Tehri Garhwal, observed the Martyrdom Day of Amar Shaheed Sridev Suman on July 25, 2026, by organizing a tribute and floral homage ceremony in his memory.
The programme witnessed the participation of the university fraternity, including faculty members, staff, and students, who paid heartfelt tributes by offering floral respects to the portrait of Sridev Suman. Participants remembered his unparalleled sacrifice, courage, and dedication to the nation while reaffirming their commitment to the democratic values he stood for.
Presiding over the programme, Campus Director Dr. Mahanth Maurya said that Sridev Suman’s sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering commitment to democratic ideals continue to inspire generations, especially the youth. He emphasized that young people should draw inspiration from the life and ideals of the freedom fighter and actively contribute to nation-building and social development.
