Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved multiple development and infrastructure projects across Uttarakhand.
In Champawat district, Rs 37.51 lakh has been sanctioned for setting up a horticulture farm near Mudiyani and Rs 49.82 lakh for establishing a marketing centre of ‘House of Himalayas’ at Amodi.
For Dehradun district, Rs 60 lakh has been approved to replace old and damaged pipelines in Ward 86, Sewla Kalan under Dharampur constituency.
In Bageshwar district’s Kapkot constituency, Rs 58.64 lakh has been sanctioned for developing religious sites — including Alaknath Temple Kilpara, Nanda Devi Temple Dophad, and other locations — as tourist destinations, along with beautification of Alaknath Temple.
In Tehri district’s Dhanaulti constituency, Rs 60 lakh has been approved for building a Yatri Vishram Grih (travellers’ rest house) at Dwarikapuri.
Additionally, under the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission, Rs 35.50 crore has been allocated for converting rural PHCs and SCs (sub-centres) into Health and Wellness Centres for 2025-26.
The CM also approved the release of funds to urban local bodies under the 15th Finance Commission’s provisions — Rs 39.41 crore as the first installment of untied grants for 2024-25, and Rs 59.11 crore as the first installment of tied grants for the same period.
