A medical shop operator in Karnaprayag reportedly saved a man’s life by performing CPR after he suddenly collapsed at the shop following complaints of anxiety and chest pain. The incident took place within the Nagar Palika area and the man was later taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to medical shop operator Kailash Sati, the man had been sitting in a vehicle near his shop when he began feeling uneasy and developed chest pain. He then came into the medical shop, where Sati checked his blood pressure and advised him to see doctors at a hospital.
However, while sitting at the shop, the man suddenly fell backwards and collapsed. Sati immediately began performing CPR on him. After the man showed signs of improvement, he was taken to the hospital in a vehicle for further medical attention. The man’s mother was also present with him at the time. Sati said he later went to the hospital at night to check on the man’s condition and found him to be stable.
The incident highlights the importance of timely first aid and CPR when a person suddenly collapses and shows signs of a possible cardiac emergency.
