Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has introduced a new online objection module for its recruitment examinations. Under the revised system, the commission will invite objections twice before declaring the final result, aiming to improve transparency and accuracy in the evaluation process. The new module has been implemented with immediate effect.
As per the revised procedure approved by the commission, the A-series question paper will first be uploaded to the UKPSC website after the examination. Candidates will be allowed seven days to submit objections regarding questions, answer options, or their structure free of cost.
After reviewing these objections, the commission will publish the provisional answer key. Candidates will then get another seven-day window to challenge the answer key by paying a ₹50 fee per question. These objections will be examined by subject experts before a final decision is taken.
Based on the recommendations of the expert panel, the commission will prepare the final answer key, which will serve as the basis for the examination result. The final answer key and the result will be released simultaneously.
UKPSC has clarified that objections in both stages will be accepted only through the online portal, and no offline or alternative mode of submission will be entertained. Candidates have also been advised to submit objections with supporting evidence to facilitate proper evaluation.
