Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Z-Morh Tunnel in Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir, today. The tunnel, part of the Srinagar-Leh National Highway, connects Sonamarg to Gagangir and is expected to enhance connectivity and promote regional development.

- Capacity: Handles 11,000 vehicles per hour

- Technology Used: Constructed using the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM), making it operational even during harsh winters.
