MEA on Anti-Terror Delegation: ‘World Must Unite Against Terrorism’

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday emphasized the need for global unity against terrorism during its weekly press briefing. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India is determined to expose cross-border terrorism and is urging the international community to hold those responsible—especially Pakistan—accountable.

He said, “We are taking our commitment to combat terrorism to the world. We want every country to fight all forms of terrorism together. Pakistan has been sponsoring terrorism against India for the last 40 years, and the world must be made aware of its actions.”

To reinforce this message, India has formed seven multi-party delegations, three of which have already been dispatched. These delegations are being sent to 33 strategically significant countries, many of which are members or upcoming members of the UN Security Council.

Jaiswal explained that this political mission aims to build international pressure and strengthen India’s partnerships on security matters. “We are going to countries where India has strong diplomatic relations, and we want to ensure our anti-terror stance is clearly communicated,” he added.
