Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami enjoyed an adventurous jungle safari at Corbett National Park in Ramnagar, Nainital, witnessing glimpses of Uttarakhand’s rich biodiversity and natural beauty. The CM described the experience as a deep connection with nature’s invaluable heritage.
He highlighted that Uttarakhand’s safari tourism is gaining national and international recognition due to continuous efforts by the state government. This rise in eco-tourism has not only boosted the local economy but also opened new avenues for self-employment among residents.
On this occasion, more than 1,000 trees were planted under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign with the support of the Forest Department, locals, and environmental enthusiasts. The Chief Minister also interacted with forest officials and lauded their dedicated efforts toward conservation and eco-tourism development.
